The two posts
- Weekly digest — posted every Monday, covering who's out across the coming week. Useful for planning standups and sprint capacity.
- Daily announcement — the list of who's off today. If nobody is out, Cabana stays quiet rather than posting an empty list.
Setting it up
Both are configured in Settings → Integrations once Slack is connected. Pick the channel, toggle the ones you want.
Picking a channel
Most teams point these at the channel people already read in the morning — #general or a team standup channel. Announcements go to public channels only, and Cabana has to be a member first: run /invite @Cabana in the channel, then it will appear in the picker.
