How they work
Define a date range in Settings → Blocked dates. Any request that overlaps that range is rejected — it never reaches a manager's queue.
What to use them for
- Year-end close for a finance team.
- A launch week or a conference where the whole team is needed.
- Peak trading periods.
Scope
A blocked range can apply to the whole organization, or to a single department or location — so finance can be locked down at year end without stopping everyone else from taking a break.
